The program is pretty much complete. I've got some things left like HTTP authentication and other small things like showing a progress bar while the repository is updated.
I'm trying to go live by the end of the month. After that it will pretty much be a battle with marketing. Googling about marketing software and trying to find a spot in the middle of the mess that the Software market is.
There's a lot of competition, especially in the IT world. I just hope to earn the trust from some companies and then just grow from that. I'm not going to invest much energy in the ad business, I will just try to put small ads in smart places like forums and comments, that should also help my Google ranking.
I foresee at least 4 or 5 months of harsh marketing (I'll also try cold calling), if nothing happens after that I'll just move to some other software I have in mind and try that.
I just have to make sure uDeployer gets the attention that it deserves, because if it does I'm sure people will buy it.
